Black Star Pastry - Watermelon, Strawberry & White Chocolate Cake
If you have never tried the Watermelon Cake by Black Star Pastry, you have not lived. This light slice of Summer will leave you begging for more. It consists of the traditional cake elements such as a soft sponge and velvety cream but somehow a cheeky slice of watermelon has made its way in between the layers. The watermelon slices themselves really break up the rich flavours and are quite refreshing for the palette. The cake is then topped with fresh slices of strawberries, some jelly and white chocolate shavings. It is just so light and delicious, perfect for the whole family (or you can just keep it for yourself - shhh).
